In my journal, I wrote a poem. It was about a turtle. His name was not Tadeo at that point. I was a new writer and belonged to The Word Guild (a Canadian Christian writers group). I received help in doing my own watercolour illustrations from my art teacher. She encouraged me. I first published 5 copies using Shutterfly. I took those copies to Write!Canada to show to editors and friends. I said to myself and God, if I sell at least 3 of them, I will publish this book. I did sell three (very expensive, too, at $25.00 each). I first published with a vanity publisher, but have since redone the book and published through Amazon.

Ender has led over 80 small group lectures. He holds a Certificate of Biblical Studies and History from the late Dr. Michael Heiser’s AWKNG School of Theology, where he continues his studies. With over 30 years in the high-tech industry, he holds degrees in Engineering and an MBA, bringing a unique analytical approach to biblical prophecy and end-times signs. In his younger days, he led worship for over a decade.

Through his research, writings, and speaking engagements, Ender continues to challenge, equip, and awaken believers to the urgent messages of Scripture. He is a husband, father, and—above all—a child of God. Ender E. Law is a pseudonym.

🌅 The Inspiration Behind the Book

Our family’s journey with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) following the diagnosis of my younger son’s ADHD & Sensory Processing Disorder when he was 7. At the time we rescued an abandoned puppy and through her rescue, I learned to see my son for his gifts not his ‘disorder’, his ‘disorder’ is also what makes him so compassionate, creative, funny and kind. I wanted to write the book for other families to understand ADHD and to look at their children’s gifts instead of focusing only on the challenges.

Michelle Foulia, of , is a writer, bibliotherapist, and speaker with a passion for story as a tool for healing, belonging, and transformation. A former foster child, foster carer, and undiagnosed neurodivergent until adulthood, Michelle’s life has been shaped by both trauma and tenacity, threads she now weaves into everything she creates.

She is the founder of Words for Healing, where she crafts therapeutic journals and books, including her debut children’s book Poppy’s Miracle, inspired by her family’s journey with ADHD.

Michelle also writes a personal blog on Substack, Breaking Open, where she shares stories of faith, trauma, parenting, life, and rediscovering the person she was always meant to be.
